Australian Homeschool Network Online is a dedicated, secure, password protected online community that allows Homeschooling families to connect in real time.
I am particularly thrilled with the sensational opportunities this offers to geographically isolated families! A wonderful chance for all families - where ever they are to forge new friendships and to stay consistently in touch.
Australian Homeschool Network Online is a dedicated, password protected online conferencing room. The room is always fully moderated for all sessions. Keeping the room safe for our children to use is important to me.
You can connect in real time with other Homeschoolers, using webcam, audio and text chat.
This is a sensational opportunity for geographically isolated families to connect and stay in touch nationwide. Use the room to chat with like-minded homeschoolers - regardless of either or even ANY of your locations.
We have fortnightly chats on alternate Monday nights for Tweens and Teens. Join in on the most suitable age group for your child - if your 13 year old is more comfortable chatting with the 11 and 12 year olds in the Tween Chat - chat there!! Use the room that best suits your family.
Mums meet weekly on a Wednesday night - and on the First Wednesday of every month we open the room to a Newbies Chat.... offering the collective 'wisdom' of a group of currently Homeschooling Mums (and even some GREAT Featured guests occasionally) to families that have just started, or who are looking into the option of Homeschooling.
Chats for Teens, Tweens, Mums and Newbies are 7pm - 9pm
See the
calendar
for more details of all chats, including which chat is on each Monday night.

Please make this payment within seven (7) days. OR you may choose to use the PayPal button and make your payment NOW $10.50 annual family subscription fee. (.50 to cover PayPal fees)
Remembering that joining the Yahoo Group gives you access to the calendar and reminder emails with the Online Room address and passwords for each session. Please Note that you WILL be required to provide your personal details for verification on the form on this page before your membership to the Yahoo Group will be approved. The safety of the users in the room - in particular our children - is of paramount importance to me. This means that your membership will NOT be approved without that information and I may even want to discuss your request before approving your membership. Membership annually is $10 PER family PER Calendar YEAR. Please pay $5 as your first payment if you join after June. This is a small amount to help offset the cost of the room. Note - this amount does NOT cover my payment for the cost of the room - it is simply an amount to offset my out of pocket expenses. YES - I could use a free room......but that would mean sacrificing the safety and security measures that currently exist in my online rooms. I will NOT compromise on the safety of our children.
AHN Online Room Terms and Conditions
I will NOT give out the room address (url) or the room password to anyone. I understand that AHN and Jenni Domansky will NEVER sell or give my personal details to anyone.

Australian Homeschool Network's EdFest Workshops during National Home Education Week
Annually, the Australian Homeschool Network Online is the 'location' for the Australian Homeschool Network's National Home Education EdFest Conference during National Home Education Week. This conference is a week long series of online workshops discussing Homeschooling for people that are either new to Homeschooling or who are investigating it as an option for their family.
There is also a Park Day 'Meet and Greet' where new families can connect with existing Homeschoolers at a local park to get some questions answered face to face. Obviously I do my best to arrange a local Park Day for everyone, but this is not always possible and the nearest 'Meet and Greet' may be some distance for some people.
